Frozen Berry Compote

 

The perfect way to use frozen fruits and upgrade your breakfast bowl!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen fruit of choice ( I like using berries)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • (optional) 1 tsp maple syrup

  • A squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, microwave your frozen for about 20-30 seconds, until softened.

  2. Add in the chia seeds, maple syrup and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.

  3. Once the mixture thickens, add it to a bowl of plain yogurt with your toppings of choice.

  4. Enjoy!
